SMM reported on September 1: According to SMM sources, a bismuth smelter in Chenzhou, Hunan initiated a public tender for its 145 mt bismuth ingots today. Market rumors indicate that this batch of bismuth ingots meets national standards in terms of quality requirements and technical specifications. The final quantity will be based on actual weighed weight. The tender opening is scheduled for September 4, 2025, with no reserve price set for this bid. The market has shown considerable enthusiasm for this tender, with many participants expressing strong interest in the outcome.
